Junior and Senior Ambassadors have the opportunity to participate in cool team building Workshops and field trips, share their knowledge of STEM, spread the word about our programs in their communities, and help with events, content, and digital outreach – all guided by parent/guardian or parent-appointed mentors (18+). Youth Ambassadors develop their leadership skills and gain valuable experience in public speaking, project management, and team building.

Festival Champions will support Houston Science Festival activities during their chosen shift with tasks such as directing activity providers, setting exhibits/activity tables up, setting up festival signage, checking in attendees, controlling crowd, way-finding, and taking down. Festival Champions will need to watch a 3-minute training video prior to the festival, arriving 30-minutes before their shift starts to check in with the Houston Science Festival Volunteer Coordinator and staying until their shift concludes.
