FREE Technology Kits

Technology Kits

Technology Kits vary and may include one or more of the following: school supplies (pencils, pencil sharpeners, notebooks, colored pencils, earbuds, and calculators), a 7" tablet, a Chromebook, and a printer.

Eligibility

Bridges to Science has partnered with Canary Academy Online under the Equity in Home Education Program (EHEP) to provide FREE Technology Kits to disadvantaged, historically underrepresented, or low-income background homeschool families attending the Houston Science Festival. Aid is given on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Although completing this form DOES NOT guarantee free admission tickets to the Houston Science Festival or a Technology Kit, we highly encourage you to apply.

Application Deadline

The application for free admission tickets and free technology kits is open until August 15, 2023 or while supplies last.
Families who qualify will be emailed starting August 18, 2023.

Kit Pick Up

• Attend the festival to personally pick up your free admission tickets and technology kit on September 9, 2023
• Arrive 15-30 minutes before your session starts at 9am or 12pm to register - designated sessions can not be modified
• Present a valid official ID or a Harris County Enhanced+ Library Card that matches information on your application
